Boots has completely stolen my heart. He’s only 3 months old and somehow already one of the most important parts of my life.

He’s my first English Cream Golden Retriever. From the moment I brought him home, he’s been pure light. Everything about him is just good. His big, soulful eyes, his silly puppy hops, the way his soft little body curls up next to me like I’m his whole world.

But honestly, he’s become mine.

Boots is sweet, gentle, goofy, and already so smart. He has this calm, old-soul energy that makes everyone melt, and this playful side that has me laughing every single day. He’ll trip over his own feet and look up at me like, “Did you see that?” Or he’ll try to carry a stick five times his size like it’s the most normal thing in the world.

He follows me everywhere. Literally everywhere. He wants to be part of everything I do, even if it’s just sitting at my feet while I work on the laptop. And when he looks up at me with those eyes, I’m done for. He doesn’t just look at me. It feels like he sees me. Somehow this tiny fluffball makes the world feel softer and quieter.

I didn’t realize how much I needed this kind of love. The slow, gentle, unconditional kind that only a dog can give. My heart is so full. Thank you, Boots, for being exactly who you are and for choosing me.
